Who won American idol 2010 : Crystal Bowersox : American idol finale take palce on tonight.Simon Cowell originally thought Crystal Bowersox would be crowned American Idol's ninth-season winner. however he now feels that Lee Dewyze will take home the title.

Cowell said that If you asked me five or six weeks ago, 100% I would have said Crystal. But now I've changed my mind and I think Lee's going to win during a Tuesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.Ellen DeGeneres Show Lee doing good performance.


Cowell said there's just something about Dewyze's background that makes him feel like the 23-year-old from Mount Prospect, IL has what it takes to win.

"There's something about him," Cowell told DeGeneres, his fellow American Idol judge.

This week's American Idol finale will also mark the end of Cowell's time on the show's judging panel, as he's leaving to instead launch an American version of his British The X Factor reality series for Fox in Fall 2011.

America Idol 2010 - May 19 Justin Bieber show : Last night on American Idol 2010 we saw the results show and finally it was revealed who would be kicked this week and which contestants had made the Top 2 for the grand finale next week. However although this was the most important part of the show for many of us, for another legion of fans it came second to the poptastic Justin Bieber’s appearance with two of his songs.

This kid is certainly a singing sensation but as the camera panned his adoring fans in the audience I couldn’t help thinking that many of them were old enough to know better, come on ladies, leave him for someone his own age! Bieber had already appeared on American Idol 2010 back in March but obviously the producers felt you can’t have too much of a good thing.

If the screaming from certain sections of the audience was anything to go by you could even say that Bieber stole the show as first he sang “U Smile”, and then his most known song, “Baby”, where he also performed a drum solo that didn’t even ruffle a hair on his head. Apparently “U Smile” will be one of the singles on Bieber’s follow up album to his smash hit last year “My World 2.0”, according to The Improper.
